No they have only admitted to using Palestinians as human shields, using illegal torture methods, illegally imprisoning people for extended periods of time, carrying out illegal assassinations, violating the nuclear nonproliferation treaty (kind of), Killing 100 British citizens in a terroristic bombing of a hotel in Israel, Illegally expanding settlements enforcing inhabitants away from their homes, And necessitating 232 United Nations resolutions since 2003 representing 40% of all resolutions. Also don't forget basic human rights violations, you know how any ethnic Jew can immediately gain citizenship in Israel but if you're of Palestinian descent it is nearly impossible.

How does any of that contradict my assumption as to why people on this board, who are largely American, find it more acceptable to bash Muslims than Jews?

I don't have a problem with their underlying message, except their choice of timing, which I think is foolish. They should be doing everything they can to distance themselves from the Jihaddists, and choosing 9/11 for their "action" is not doing that, IMO. To use that date as a rallying point and call to action is a significant mistake.

Most of all, the extremists of their faith is who is most to blame for any injustices they may suffer. They should be addressing those groups first.

You're probably a decent young man (and not the young Hitler you sometimes can come across as), but here are a few blatant differences in the two:
1)Jews didn't knock down the twin towers, killing thousands of our people.
2)Jews aren't shoving their religion (or laws) down our throats.
3)Jews aren't actively bombing our people, or constantly finding new ways to attack us.
4)Most Jews don't even own pressure cookers.
5)Haven't seen anything about a "million Jew march" on the anniversary of #1 on my list.
Though my list is somewhat "tongue-in-cheek", I'm not aware of Rabbi Goldberg attempting to take down a 747 with a bomb stuck up his ass (or some other orifice).
