I understand the definition of staff. What I don't understand is how listing them as staff, when they clearly are not, makes them staff.

It wasn't that I made statements supporting Obama, it is that I made statements in which I supported McCain and did not support many of Bush's decision. In this particular forum refusing to agree with the masses about the republican party leads to being called a liberal.

As I said before, if I was wrong in making the comments that you supported 0bama in previous discussions, I retract my statements. I guess I need to check such things before posting next time.

essentially anytime someone remotely has an opinion that isn't strictly anti-Obama/pro-Republican the insults fly. For a group of people whom claim to be pro-American there are some very un-American qualities on display in my opinion, beginning with the lack of interest in freedom of speech.

Voicing an opinion, even if it is insulting, is protected speech in the US. Well Stevo, I feel as though I touched a nerve, your response comes off a bit mean spirited. I have not told anyone they are wrong, please if I have pull that quote and show it to me. I have not called you a single name or stated you are wrong, your entire statement above is attacking in nature in my opinion but lacks any factual information, it is your opinion to which you are entitled. I do find this site fun and inspiring, I learn things on this site so it has value. I agree everyone has an opinion, some I agree with, some I do not, that in itself does not make it right or wrong.

Possibly, but it may be something as simple as an automated system with a bad or limited drop down selection. They may have been categorized as staff because there wasn't a, "president's kids," selection on the menu. It might be easier to lump them in with White House staff in the computer, to differentiate them from press and other guests. I just don't see the evidence that points to them being paid. I need a record of payment, not just an obscure listing in a passenger manifest for a flight. I don't like Obama, and I think stupid little attempts like this to snipe at his family distract from how big an evil fuck he really is, and let the rest of the political machine get away with mowing the world down for fun and profit.

I'd have to see proof of your hypothesis. While it's not a smoking gun, it does fit into the given evidence of a president so drunk on power that he believes nothing applies to him, that he and his family are royalty with rules that can be bent to fit whatever he wants.
