When I got to boot camp I was offered two jobs.

After my physical for the Presidential Guard Duty, I learned that I was too short to do this (I'm 6'0", you were required to be 6'1"), so I went into the Intel Field.

At least I would have guarded Reagan and the elder Bush, and not that worthless POS Clinton or this current failure.

Apparently, you Jarheads and everybody else getting pissed this morning were wrong about that whole umbrella thing. Check out the ACTUAL regulations.......

MCO P1020.34F of the Marine Corps Uniform Regulations "UMBRELLAS (Female Marines). Female Marines may carry an all-black, plain standard or collapsible umbrella at their option during inclement weather with the service and dress uniforms. It will be carried in the left hand so that the hand salute can be properly rendered. Umbrellas may not be used/carried in formation nor will they be carried with the utility uniform."

The only exemption to this policy, as published by the Commandant of the Marine Corps, ".....Male Marines may only use an umbrella while escorting a lady."
