I agree completely, from a consumer standpoint it's all about the bottom dollar, but the gov doesn't care how they get to that bottom dollar. If you buy a $100 item, you pay tax on a $100 item, regardless if it's over-knighted for an additional $50, picked up from the local store, or shipped bulk freight.

I would also love to see the government help level the playing field by reducing taxes for brick & mortar stores, but we both know that'll never happen, they are only going to adjust the lower of the two up.

It will happen if enough people stop saying "well that will never happen!".

Oklahoma right now is looking for a way to eliminate their state income tax.

I am against sending one more red cent to the federal or state governments. They get enough as it is. Most cities and school districts get more than enough as well.
