  • Pelosi says she prays Hillary Clinton runs

Hillary Rodham Clinton is in Nancy Pelosi's prayers, and the House minority leader is appealing to a higher power about the 2016 presidential race.

"I pray that Hillary Clinton decides to run for president of the United States," Pelosi, D-Calif., told a Little Rock audience on Thursday, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

"Nobody has been first lady and senator and now secretary of State," Pelosi said. "Putting everything aside that she is a woman, she'd be the best qualified person."

There is no shortage of Democrats who are openly pining for Clinton to take another shot at running for the White House, but the former secretary of State and former New York senator has been mum about her political future. EMILY's List launched its "Madam President" campaign on Thursday, making clear it's time for a woman in the White House, and the Ready for Hillary super PAC is urging on Clinton.

Pelosi was in Arkansas for an event at the Clinton School of Public Service — named for former president BIll Clinton — when she spoke about what kind of statement it would make if Hillary ran and won.

"Think of the message it sends to women in the world," she said. "The most powerful figure in the world is a woman, and she also happens to be the most qualified for the job."

I'd have rather had Hillary than Obama, up until the Benghazi fiasco.

I agree. And she will be running in 2016. I would be shocked if she didn't.

Don't speak too soon. If this Benghazi thing continues to develop like it has been, she may never live down her failure.

She won't be running for president. She's already fallen on the Benghazi sword and the opposition will chew her up with that.

Even though I personally see Benghazi as being incredibly important, I really do not expect it to even be a blip on the radar of the voting left.

The same dumbshits that voted our current ass clown in twice will now be saying, "It's time that America had a woman president".

Remember, Obama wrote books with his exact thoughts about America, yet he got voted in. Then he lied about nearly everything he said he would do, fucked up our economy, screwed up our foreign relations, and got re-elected.

I'll say it again. I see Christie and Clinton running for president and then them being a team to bring "real bi-partisan change".

                That might be true.

But I don't agree with this at all. Just from the article above... Especially when you consider Kerry's comments at the hearing the other day. And I say this, because there is not enough of a smoking gun, yet. Yet being the operative word. I mean, look at Obama. He got a second term, because nobody cared that he lied about everything he lied about. Sadly, I have lost every ounce of faith in the American people when it comes to elections.

Man, she stepped down because of national security issues we had that culminated in Benghazi.

I do agree that a story that takes more than one sound bite to convey will leave our nation of low-information voters confused.

I should have been more clear. Sure she "fell on the sword" and stepped down from her position. However, the left still is denying any wrongdoing on any of their parts (her included). And it won't have any negative impact on her if she were to run in '16. JMO of course.

You guys gotta watch the Clintons. Don't think for one minute that she already feels defeat or that she will ever be too far out of any race. I would take very careful note to what they do between now and 2016.

It doesn't matter if she was on video shooting those ambassadors herself, the liberal shit heads don't care. They will still vote for her, or fix the election to let her win. My faith in humanity was lost in '08 when they elected this dumb ass the first time, and even more the 2nd time. After all of the shit that came out, and he still got it.

if voters can vote the most unqualified person into office twice in a row, anything can and will happen
as long as the normalcy bias remains unabated.....
