Logical assumptions are logical, bro, can't beat that.

Therefore Talisman is a dick in the name of Jesus and all Christians are dicks. Am I doing this right?

Actually, the original post was to point out a squid kicking a rapist's ass which I found humorous. I also spun it to point fun at the average media spin on situations such as this. The discussion of the religion as a whole was a tangent.

And yes, Christianity is better than Islam. When was the last time you had Christians worldwide killing every other faith because that faith told them to? Crusades?

Actually, the similar train of thought would be:

Talisman is from Texas. He blockaded an abortion clinic with his truck and is standing there in the bed of the truck yelling about how abortion is wrong. Texas is majority Christian and abortion is frowned upon by Christianity thus, odds are, Tali is Christian.

I actually enjoyed reading up on that. The man thought he was the brother of Jesus. I didn't see where he did it based on the Bible though. Still, I'll count that towards your point. 1864. Anything in the last, oh I don't know...century or so?

Oh, and this part: "With no reliable census at the time, estimates are necessarily based on projections, but the most widely cited sources put the total number of deaths during the 15 years of the rebellion at about 20–30 million civilians and soldiers.[4] [12] Most of the deaths were attributed to plague and famine. At the Third Battle of Nanking in 1864, more than 100,000 were killed in three days."

So the majority of those weren't due to Christianity, it was plague and faminine.

Possibly. Screwed up thing? I've been offered a teaching position when I graduate.

They have classes in crazy? You've been saying "when I graduate" or something along those lines for as long as you've been on the boards. You'd better have a doctorate by now.

Being a full-time student is hard... especially with very few other responsibilities.

I have graduated since I've been on here. Working on another degree. Pursuit of knowledge and all of that.

Who said I'm a full time student? Can't handle the stress of full time.
