  • While you were watching Boston CISPA passed

Govt no longer needs a warrant to gather info from your cell or google yahoo facebook etc. Tyranny
The controversial cybersecurity Bill has passed the U.S. House and is now on its way to the Senate chamber. Privacy groups believe this tramples on the Fourth Amendment.

It would have passes if we watched or not. I remember being one of the last people I know to get a personal cell phone, which I eventually got. Today, I don't know many without a Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, etc account. I'm still out on that.

I'm, with you. I only have Linkedin, but I've only checked it about 4 times in 4 years. I don't want any of my personal business out there. I guess my own exception is this site.

I didn't get a personal cell phone myself until around 2001, or a personal home computer until 2002. No Facebook, MySpace, or LinkedIn accounts here either.

I've been saying for a while there's no different between Rep and Dem. Different sides of the same coin.
The NDAA and now this prooves it yet again.
We need people to stand up for the Constitution, not keep the phoney Rep. vs Dem going.
Maybe there used to be a difference between the two a long time ago, but hasn't been for awhile.

Yea, I've got Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts. I use Facebook primarily for family and a few friends. Twitter and LinkedIn are for professional use only.

But I have a filter on when I use these sites. I don't air dirty laundry. I don't post pics I would rather not be seen by others. I bite my tongue a lot.

But after CISPA I'm going to do a lot more to take my web browsing habits underground. They can pass all the laws they want. It doesn't mean we have to make it easy for them..

                          Exactly!

I hope Barry likes knowing when I'm at the Rangers game, or enjoys pictures of my kids, because that's all he's going to see on my Facebook. People that air private issues they are having, or questionable things they've done are going to love this.

This. My FB has politics and that's about it. Everything is on private and I don't talk about anything I don't want others to know about

Law is BS sets a scary precedent. BTW I hope everyone isn't naive enough to think screenames can't/won't be easily linked to RL identities now/in the future.
