Imposition of martial law if he really gets offended is probably circulating around in his little head.

I agree he will get what he wants, regardless of what the people want.

I agree with this. He has done some damn good things in Louisisana. His anti corruption laws alone should make him Governor for life. However his idea to kill the income tax was recieved very badly because he wanted to transfer that tax burden to sales taxes. Even the Republicans in the state house wouldn't get behind it.

Another issue is that he really isn't much of a speaker. Everyone moans at his response to the Presidents State of the Union speech from a few years ago.

Personally I'm looking at Rand Paul or Chris Christie (sp?). I know they are very different from a political stand point but they possess real leadership qualities that I think are more important than singular political issues. Obviously Rand would be my top pic. Jeb Bush would be 3rd on my list..

I would rank Bush over Christie, I don't trust Christie at all he is way to cozy with the media.

On paper. He's fucked in the head if he thinks implementation is going to happen. I'm short on generation defining moments, so I dare him to dictator it up.

Piss on that fat, loud-talking yankee. After all the arm-in-arm ass-kissing with he and Barry after the hurricane, he can kiss my ass.

Not a fan at all of Christie. He is about as liberal as a Republican can get. Very anti gun. Less national level experience than Obama had when he took the office. But he would stand the best chance of winning the seat. The liberals like him

Fuck Christie, I have disliked that fat blowhard since day one and after hurricane sandy it was obvious he sucked.

I would like to see Ted Cruz or Rand Paul run.

Oh snap, never knew he was born in Canada! Wow, I feel like an idiot. What a shame though.

I'd say that is what America actually needs, and could be marketable to many people in an election.

While I agree with you stevo, Jindel is (at this time) not electable. With help and a dam good manager he might be at some time in the future.
GOP needs to change their platform with regard to social issues. With the forever changed demographics of this country, no candidate will pull the votes in a national election to win. To further your agenda, you must first get your guy in position. No matter how much the GOP beats their chest in disgust of the liberal majority, they must first appeal to said crowd.
