In 2003 we were instructed to allow 1 AK in each home, but if we saw them outdoors with it then we took it one way or the other.

i dont know much about guns, but i understand physics and it would seem that it would take much more time/energy to fling the round on the right vs. the round on the left. If i have a helicopter reigning hellfire down on me i guess the bigger the better just to get it over with!

When I was in Iraq everyone had at least one AK and we had to let them go on their way with them if they were part of the militia.

There is a difference between an AK a family has sitting in their house to the bad actor walking around the streets with one. An AK in the corner of a house that is all by itself and dirty (as in not maintained) is a different scenario then the one in the corner that has been meticulously cleaned and then you find a chest rig with 6-7 other loaded magazines. The latter is probably cause to be suspicious of the males intentions. If he is walking down the street with his AK and his chest rig he is not a shop keeper or a paper boy and unless he is with a known group of community police, smoke him.

naynay want to know more, I would suggest reading some books and I have shelves full. Just because it is bound in a cover and not pasted in a half hazard article on the internet does not make it any less true and factual. In fact just the opposite. The latest I am reading is called Damn Few by Rorke Denver. You will get his first hand version of taking a human life and how he felt and why. I am not being sarcastic when I say, read something other than the internet or watch youtube.
