I have no idea how you'd get that idea. My land, fuck off. If you think you want it, bring a checkbook or more guns than me. Indians either sold the land or lost it in war. One of the bad things of losing a war. You lose land.
If they are a sovereign nation, they get nothing. If they would like to join the United States, we'll talk during their integration. I'm tired of handing money out without getting something in return.
Prove to me they owned this land before I did. Oh, and that's ignoring that the indians didn't believe you could own land (an idea shared by the federal and state government). I'll wait.
That would be very easy, all one would have to do is find the treaties made by the US government.

Sometimes I think you just decide you believe a certain way, then try to connect the dots as to why it is okay, rather than connecting the dots to come to a belief. You should work on that.

Sounds like the climate change alarmists.

Same concept, either you are for the government taking peoples land at will or you aren't.
Not for it at all. Land purchased or taken during war is an exception to this. I'm strongly against imminent domain. Also, this is land within the US that was taken by the US against a foreign power. It's similar to saying that because I'm all for Detroit being retaken from Muslim extremists that stone and kill citizens who recognize no authority of the state or federal government that I'm for the same government taking land for the Keystone Pipeline.
Not even close. War was fought, indians lost. They're lucky they're still breathing. Spoils of war. Can I make it more clear?

Cool! I declare war against you. I'm going to come kill you and take your property as my own. I mean, it is war afterall.

If you feel froggy. Perhaps I should explain how it works when nations go to war, they take the land and resources that they fought over. Still, you want to declare war and come and kill me, I can guarantee you, it's been tried and I really don't fear being shot again. Do you?

I already know how that works.

Cool story bro.
Do you?
If it's to the point I'm trying to kill other people then the fear of getting shot is inconsequential. I wouldn't run up and shoot you, that's just fucking stupid when you have other options.
And it's pretty stupid to think I don't expect every day to get shot by a sniper. Ah the fun of being paranoid. You said you wanted to kill me and take what I own. That you declare war on me. Which also means when you try, and fail, I get to put your head on a pike in my yard and seize your assets. No stories involved, anyone who is interested can read it on their own time.
