Tell the teacher you want graded work returned then, jesus H... Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill.

Weird. I have to intentionally misspell its (itz, itx, itw) to get it's without typing the apostrophe myself, and then it only works half the time.

That's why you also have interaction with your kids to find out what they are teaching. Yes, the do have books, homework and tests. Our kids come home with it all of the time. We go over it and discuss it. When they had a reading assignment on the Alamo, there was just a brief mention about the Battle of San Jancinto. I feel like that is just as important because that is where we defeated them, so I had them write more on it too and turn it in with the report.

With the latest version of android on my evo it's really a pain in the ass. If I type a word and then select a suggested spelling, it will auto correct that word from there forward, whereas the older version would still prompt you. I'm just too lazy to go into the dictionary to remove/edit.

Of course we have. Like they said, we have to look out for our best interests. In the case of the terrorists, they would find a reason to hate us no matter what we do because we are everything they despise. So, trying to play nice and appease them is is a lost cause. The idea that we could avoid hurting their feelings is misguided and to try to convince our children of that is just setting them up to become future victims of the islamic manipulation.

Again you assume I haven't done this. I have and it works for about 2 weeks and I shouldn't have to keep calling up to the school to tell them how to do their job.

Well technically they do have books in my son's Biology class. There are not books in his Algebra or History classes. There is a "class set" in his English class but he claims the rarely use them. Most of the curriculum is either electronic or is copied from workbooks.

Talking to your kids is KEY you are correct. Last year when Glenn Beck talk on his show about the Islamic and Boston Tea Party bullshit I started to look into even more. Knowing what some people think of Glenn I went to my son and asked him what he was taught about these subjects. What he told me was inline with what was said on Glenn's show. I then asked him if his teacher ever mentioned anything about a Tax on Tea, he said no.

So now a lazy teacher=a liberal teacher?

Never met a single lazy conservative in my life...

Hey racecarbitch-fag why not try arguing against the original point, never mind just keep trolling.

                          Inference, son!

Just wondering. Are worksheets and workbooks not sufficient enough to teach your kid something?

Awww, do we have pet names for each other now? Do you take the position that the whole test is fucked up, or only parts of it?

Now I am not saying that the answers are wrong or right (all circled are correct the kid made a 100) I am wondering is this what we should be teaching a 5th grader about what happened that day?

Show me where I inferred any thing about a teacher being lazy.
"Son", really? Just how old are you punk?

Kinda hard to view worksheets and workbooks when they are not returned. A book on the other-hand is different with authors that can be checked on and editors that can be held accountable for errors and such. Are you inferring my kid is dumb or something?

That's saying someone is too lazy to do their job, so you have to remind them to do it.

Old enough to know better, too young to resist.

lmfao, all you'd do is bitch about something you don't agree with, regardless of its basis in fact. Workbooks and worksheets have authors too, y'know. Oh wait, my mistake. They just write themselves.

Are you inferring my kid is dumb or something?
If I wanted to say that your kid was dumb, I'd just say it.
                                See post 1 and 43.
