It's going to get interesting when my son starts school proper. I'll be sitting down to read his books with him and going over his papers. If I see something wrong, I'm going to be a fixture at the school.

I was thinking of realistic solutions. You're going to always have someone that hates someone else. Hell, Muslims think blowing yourself up to kill nonbelievers is a valid tactic to spread their political ideology.

LOL! All over the world, decisions are made every day by countries that might have a negative impact on another. They do that for their own well-being. It's not a reason (or excuse) for them to be a victim of terrorism.

Any time I would visit my parents and my little sister needed help with her homework I cringed at some of the stupid shit I would see. Luckily she was smart enough to realize how stupid the homework was too. One question I remember in particuliar was Give an example of a Space Shuttle so I told her "Discovery." Then the corresponding question was Give an example of something that is not a space shuttle. I told her "a cat." To my amusement she said that she asked her teacher if a dog was an acceptable answer. For some reason it was not.

The education system is so fucked right now it's unbelievable.
