I'm well past 30 something. And I don't have an issue with fighting for what I believe in.

I'm actually pretty jealous. I wish I would have done more traveling when I was younger and tried living elsewhere in the world. At least I'm making up for it now!

Who said it was? I just happen to have a degree from a prominent University that I am proud of and worked hard for.

Is it cowardly to abandon a sinking ship or climb down a burning building?

America is turning into a shithole so I abandoned ship to seek greener pastures and grow as a person. I clearly stated my intentions in my thread and have gone through with something that I believe is important and a good life decision.

You mean instead of stopping the person who is drilling holes in the ship when there are innocents aboard? Yes.

                        ***Shakes head***

I've managed to avoid most of the problems Jester had in the past, but I still agree with him. I've had my own problems, but they build character and can make a person stronger. It's clear to me that you'd prefer to run from problems than deal with them.

I wish you'd just rescind your American citizenship too, since you're such a bad ass and hate this country so much.

So, you're on a your boat that you've spent your life savings and your lifetime to build with your friends and family and some thugs come along and start knocking holes in it. Are you going to abandon your loved ones or are you going to try to stop the thugs?

I feel this is the mentality of our current generation/future generation:

"Run and save yourself, that is all that matters" or "think about what YOU need, not others, they can get it them selves"

I might die, but at least I (hopefully) will be able to stand in front of St. Peter and tell him I had the balls to stand up for what is right...my wife and kids. Stand up for their future, and the future of their home.

Just my broke, poor ass white boy opinion in a very simple context

I think the latest elections have proven that the majority do not care what the government does as long as they still get their free shit.
