No, I don't, because they've both done the same thing, and if given the opportunity, christianity would revert back. I would rather keep them where they're at then allow either of them a foothold in any governmental affairs. Also, look at some of the christian nations in Africa this very moment, more specifically Uganda, who wants to imprison/kill gay people solely for being gay because they've been convinced that it endangers Ugandan families.

From a procreation standpoint, they're right. Not to mention, it's hard to wash off the shitdick without access to running water..

You guys are both missing the point, this is a program in Texas public schools , that pushes ONLY Islam, no other religion is pushed by it:

The parents said they immediately contacted the principal of the high school who defended the program and said it was required under CSCOPE – a controversial electronic curriculum system that provides online lesson plans for teachers.

“The principal told me it was world geography and they have to learn this stuff,” she said. I called Janice VanCleave, a vocal critic of the CSCOPE program and the founder of Texas CSCOPE Review. She said the education program is without question promoting the Islamic religion – and students are not given the full story.

“They are not telling students how these young women are treated in this religion,” she told me. “In the Islamic countries women are not treated well at all.”

Last month, evidence was presented at a state hearing showing that CSCOPE offered a number of lessons about Islam.

One particular lesson instructed teachers to provide classroom readings of selected texts from the Koran.

Students were also taught that Allah is God.

CSCOPE offered no comparable lessons on Christianity or Judaism, VanCleave told Fox News.

They miss the point on a regular basis. Most likely because they can't argue the original point.

Because the world has a problem with procreation rates, and africans, of all people, need to procreate more. They can't even feed what they've got, let alone more people.

I'm not missing the point, I just think it's funny that christians are getting a dose of their own medicine and they don't like it.

You only think I missed it, I just chose not to argue it and instead took the angle of "good for the goose, good for the gander."

Pray tell what "dose of medicine" Christians have been giving in our schools? I am sure that the Texas Board of Education doesn't mandate a program that forces schools to teach students to get baptized and be told that Jehovah is God, but maybe you can find that mandated state program for me....

From the "collective" standpoint it should be all or nothing IMO. All religion discussed and taught in school or none. I would lean toward none as I think it should be the parents discression to introduce what religions they would like their child to learn about.

Note that this is not from the High School lesson, but from a 6th grade history lesson. Just more BS from the creators of CSCOPE

You need to take a comparative religion course and pull your head out of transmissions for a bit. Then you may learn what you're talking about.

Christianity was where Islam was at a LONG time ago. Think the Crusades and then the Spanish Inquisition, The Old Testament ect. Islam is where Christianity was at a long time ago. Does that make them right? Hell no, but don't think that Christianity and any other religion for that matter doesn't have a spotty past.

What I find most amusing is how the people in this thread defending the actions of the school program don't actually have an opinion OTHER than that they are anti- something. You don't mind islamic proselytizing because its anti-conservative and anti-christianity.

Have an opinion of your own instead of just being a sheep.
