This times a million. Growing up in southern Oregon when I did it was all displaced Okies, Arkies and Texans... All the assholes from California ran north when it got to expensive and ruined it and Washington state.

Doesnt suprise me, I lived up north in Chicago & between the Tolls & State Tax & cost of fuel & cost of living. I cant see how people can afford to live up there in that state & scrape a living.

I just got back from a road trip to Boston, and every single yankee I encountered wanted to leave their state, especially NY. Why the fuck do yall elect officials who fuck everything up and then want to leave? I just don't get it.

I don't see the draw to any of the northern states, and all I see is a mass exodus to here. All those yankee fucks wanted me to take them with me.

Just what we need in the DFW area, more out of staters causing more traffic in the area.

Kind of the same thing I remember about Colorado. Everyone was going ape shit crazy that people from Texas and California were moving there in droves in the 80's and 90's.

Like section 8 housing: They've shit in their own nests' so much that it's beyond repair, so it's time to go somewhere else and repeat the process.

Come to Texas, just leave the liberal mindset up there.

Won't happen. They will come here because its good and immediately try to start redistributing our wealth.

I just want all the gun company's and such to move here.

limited water resources will prevent that unless we find a way to start converting salt water to drinking water on a grand scale and sending water north.

They're not relocating from IL. They are leasing/building a shit ton of space in Richardson though. A portion of it will be co-shared space with Raytheon. The Richardson area will be somewhat of a Corporate south.

But they'll show up here, pissing and moaning about how stupid Texans are and how whatever filthy hole they left behind was a utopia. Every sentence starts with "Back home in _(insert name of failed yankee state)_ we did it like this..."

LOL! So true! You must have lived through the late '70's/early '80's when the yankee's were flocking down here looking for work. I wouldn't pull any punches, either. "Weren't you starving your ass off 'back home' ?"
