Nice. I should qualify for EIC this year, so I might as well file.

Nothing can help IL at this point. They are just slightly further down the "We're F#*&ed" ladder after California....

I bet Boeing is really loving their decision to move to Chicago instead of DFW..

My Dad lives in Elgin (outside of Chicago) and he's looking to move to Southern Illinois (where Grandma lives) where the cost of living is much lower. I told him he should just move to Texas. Our cost of living is just as low as Southern Illinois but we have lower taxes and more jobs..

Basically what happened to Austin and the tech boom. Silicon Valley flee-ees went there.

UT being there hasn't helped, either. I was born and raised there (a long time ago), and it has definitely become a liberal hot-bed.

My father in law has. He has a very high paying job and owes the IRS like $130K or something like that. I keep wondering when they're going to come throw him in jail.

If everyone would do this then they wouldn't have any choice but to change the tax code.

BTW, the Illinois measure passed both their House and the Senate. The governor is in favor of it so it is a done deal. It is going to be interesting to see the number of people who run from Chicago now.
