My wife and I went through the process to make her a legal immigrant. It cost several thousand dollars, medical and psych evals and I had to sign paperwork stating that she woudln't go on welfare and if she did, they'd come after me. Fuck illegals. Shoot them and hang them on pikes along the border

But, maybe I'm just naive.

D.R. Horton wouldn't give a damn if 8-year-old vietnamese kids were doing their roofing.
The company owners are legal (which is who gets the checks from the big boys) but the boys on the roof are probably not going to be, just like the boys actually shoveling the concrete. I have tried for years to hire "legal" crews. My brick layer was covered by Reagan, then was able to bring his parents over through him. Guys like that are pretty rare.
