You don't want to know how I really feel. It'd get me banned.

They make up what... 2-3% of the population?
Yet every TV show has the token gay dude....

So many REAL problems and threats to this country and our federal government wants to make sure we know that man-butt sekz is OK

the time and bandwidth spent on a lot of these "social" causes is astounding, yet we can't balance a fucking budget, stick to major statements within the bill of rights, or figure out what a "tax" is.....

I have met more than one gay person who has a problem with them putting homos in every show. They make the point that it is ramming it down people's throats and generates resentment. Most of them just want to be treated like everyone else.

I am completely against the idea that government has some sort of say in the marriage matter. It should have never been added to the tax code. It shouldn't be a "legal" status. Marriage is a religious idea. I can see churches not wanting people to be considered married in the eyes of the church, that is their prerogative. But gay people would be within their rights to start their own church. Government fucks up everything it touches, this is just another example.

I believe in God, am married and agree with you. Hell, when I got married I had no idea (nor did I care) about tax breaks and crap. Although, I see the point behind some of those tax breaks - it could be based off other criteria - not marriage.
