I think someone needs to teach that asshat proper weapons handling. I can not see all too well in the picture but it even appears that the gun is not on SAFE and his fucking thumb is on the trigger combined with magazine in and bolt forward.

The idiot with the AK is a public figure. You are not. You would've gotten the bad end of that deal. It's also illegal for citizens to carry a firearm into that particular government building as well as having to pass through a metal detector. Your scenario would not play out well. You would get no "atta boy" pats on the back. You would most likely end up dead before you walked through the entrance and would have limited public figure status as your story was told on the evening news as some "crazed gunman/vetern/PTSD" killed a beloved delegate.

Guy would have been D.O.A. in Texas for not telling everyone his plans since we give CHL holders an express ticket inside the capitol building. The guys intentions might have been well thought out but that's it, his execution is very poorly thought out.
