How? Who knows? None of us were there. It could have started with a bang. I'm not losing sleep over it either way.
    Agreed.

God set the processes of Creation in motion, as recorded in Genesis. The working out of those processes is the province of science.

I think that I can agree with this. There needs to be a verse in the bible that says "And God said..."Let it Bang...""

There are some flaws in that logic, but when is there not a flaw in any logic?

        Is this really true?

What other denomination teach 6 day creation is an allegory?

No hope in the pope, just because he said doesn't mean a thing.

          1 Corinthians 3:19
          19. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight.
          2 Chronicles 7:14
If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

So in that case, everything that man knows or thinks he knows about religion and God is foolish in Gods eyes.

              Wrong.

Paul's quoted verse above is spot on because God is not of this world or limited by this world. Wisdom of worldly things, i.e. the material things, upon which some men place the highest importance is of no consequence to God.

I didn't post the above verse, I simply read and understood it.

Well, let's look at it this way..............The pope is agreeing with a bunch of people that have PhD's that The Big Bang occured, contrast to a bunch of people that have bachelors, masters, and doctorates in subjects that nobody in written history can prove to be true, much-less remotely possible.

The current pope was also a Jew hating Nazi, so what he thinks about anything should be irrelevant.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.
