  • Baltimore Police 2nd Amendment Support Decal Warning

The company “Legally Concealed” has created and is marketing decals and apparel to the public “specifically to show support and solidarity for the 2nd Amendment”. According to their website, http://www.legallyconcealed.org/ the special symbol, of the (2) silver lines and number “2” on the black background was “designed in the same spirit of the law enforcement “thin blue line””.

All officers should be familiar with this symbol especially when dealing with the public or conducting traffic stops. While the individual who is displaying the symbol may not be armed, the presence of the symbol provides an early warning indicator that you MAY be about to encounter an armed individual. And this is why I keep stickers off my cars.

You almost can't get a CHL in Maryland, or at least, it used to be hard. They also used to dick with CHL holders from other states, so that sticker makes for a distinct non-advantage.

LOL you'd be surprised then: I've been stopped 3 times and told the officer I had a CHL and was carrying. He was unaware, and this was after the obligatory "run his plates for warrants before approaching" thing. Some cops don't pay attention to dick.

Your CHL is Utah, does that show up when they run your Texas plates? The one time I recall being stopped I produced my CHL and the officer handed it back with nary a glance, stating that he didn't need it.
