I hope none of the kids are dumb enough to find a holder, attack him/her, and boom all this is gone.

Let's also be realistic. How many known PTSD cases are out there? How many current active duty military and veterans have PTSD and haven't been diagnosed or refuse to acknowledge they have it? That's the type of fight you're up against when you start asking to put trained military personnel in a noncombat school environment. I'm not saying it couldn't be an option, but I think the screening process would have to be very in depth in order to appease the liberals.

That is the sole reasoning behind my "dont ask dont tell" idea if they were allowed to carry.

I personally don't wont just any pistol packing CHL holder without advanced training to protect my kids or grandkids. We put our kids at risk from both the shooter and the CHL carrier.

The CHL was designed for personal protection. Not so much for the protection of others even though it has some merit to protect others. Police and Military training is more geared for the protection of others and train regularly with different sceneries of hostile situations.

A gun fight in a school with a common CHL holder?... Please

Who cares if not every teacher knows how to use it.

The whole thing is the sick fucks will know that they are not the only gun in the building. These attacks are about easy targets.

You have CHL holders around your kids and grandkids everyday, everywhere except schools. Your argument is invalid.

Let someone else teach her. They are crazy like that sometimes and don't want to listen to the words you are actually saying. Put them with someone else and they will hear everything. Shootsmart has private instructors that are very good at taking the husband out of the equation. Heck they have a couple women instructors that can out shoot 90% of the guys on here.

Arm the teachers. Concealed means concealed. Have quick reaction drills for active shooters and small caches controlled by trustee teachers and admin to augment everyday carry teachers. All undisclosed. Cache = Cell phone, shotgun, distinquishable jacket and equiv. of a combat life savers bag. Shcool board buys membership to indoor range and training ammo each year and works out discounts with ranges for supplimental training.

I for one would gladly accept the tax increase and my daughter won't be in school for 6 years.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

It is valid, because in this case that we are speaking of means that we want our teachers to "police" the schools. Again, I'm all for it, BUT with advanced training.

no, Im completely against having teachers with firearms and instructions to use them. You are out of line with that. They are there to teach, not be armed responce.

The only reason that those who are school employees that are capable to defend THEMSELVES and thier classrooms arent allowed to is by state law. I dont want my wife to be required to step into harms way becasue she is armed.

Agreed. Much better to leave them all unarmed, and to let the children be slaughtered.

BTW, any of you who are thinking that the only ones who have a gun on a school campus are the police are dead wrong. There are guns walking in on students, found in cars in the parking lot, in lockers, etc frequently.

So you would want her to cower, hide in a corner or closet while her students are slaughtered? And you would stay married to the person? I am not saying the teachers did this, but they did have a school nurse on the tv that did exactly that, then went on tv to talk about it. I would hope my fiance would do more, and at least attempt to stop the gunman before she met her end.

Well look at it this way: if a loony with a gun is shooting up the warehouse where I work, Im calling the police. Im not going to step into the warehouse to confront him, even though I am armed. He comes into the office where I am, then I dont have much choice, either I run and chance getting shot, or I shoot, and chance getting shot. THAT IS A CHOICE I GET TO MAKE. and I am not required to do either, I get to choose.

In college I was sitting next to a guy who had a 1911 slide out of his backpack just enough to catch my eye.

Was my first clue that concealed handguns are possible just about anywhere and everywhere.
