What is with the sports reporters and political rants?

First Costas and yesterday I was going through the radio and Jim Rome started going off about how the republican party is becoming too right wing and is being controlled by extremest like the NRA. I have never listened to Rome before but I can tell you that will be the last time listening to that nut job. Saying guns in the hands of citizens has never saved anyone and has killed many innocent people.

Thankfully this is America and I can listen to what I want. F-in ABC/ESPN. If I want to hear about politics I will listen to a political show, I watch and listen to sports to get away from everything like politics.

I just about give up on all this shit at this point. These guys are going to do this more and more, IMO, as their handlers are doing as instructed and ratcheting up the pressure, making the outcry when they slam some sort of control through less vociferous.

We're fucked. I give up on politics and just wish that I had the wherewithal to follow Denny and crew to Guam...
