What Eric said. Impeachment requires a majority vote from the House, and conviction requires a 2/3rd vote from the Senate. I think in the grand scheme of things, Petraeus's credibility will not be harmed much considering all the other dirty rotten scoundrals (sp?) in DC. Anyone can argue what man HASN'T sent flirtatious emails, texts etc to female friends.
It would be awesome for him to burn the whole house down with the REAL TRUTH as he knows it and be able to back it up with facts. At that point credibility doesn't really matter.
