In reality I would say only around 5-10% of the hard core paulbots will hold a grudge against Rand and over half of those will still go along. I've never held Rands endorsement of Romney against him. It was a smart move and I believe behind closed doors Ron/Rand and the entire group planned it late in race when party saw what was happening and told Rick to bow out. I would have prefered Paul senior, but I'll be 100% behind junior in a few years. He is a much better speaker and overall a more skilled politician with almost the exact same message as the old man.

2. Ryan has his flaws and I do not agree with everything he does. Yeah, I voted first for Cain, then Newt, and then Romney. Remind me, how many votes did Paul get? And you can go total from all of his failed attempts.

3. Paul has said himself that the issue is with career politicians and they should have term limits. While serving for 30 years. I'll let you think on the hypocracy of that.

The only tax increase here besides the people who make $400K (about .5% of the population) is the tax that is the most regressive in nature, the social security tax. And this was just a temporary cut all along. Is that really an increase?

In exchange for that there is now a permanent indexing of the AMT, permanent Bush tax cuts for people under the $400K, no change in dividend tax rates for people under $400K and only a 20% capital gains tax for people over that threshold.

This is like the Republicans routing Obama from the field. Either that or this was the plan all along, just enough of a tax increase to allow Owebama to save face in the eyes of his followers.

On the spending we are all still losers. These fuckers haven't done shit.
