I'm looking at this right now. Our premiums will be 7200/yr and between the 3 of us, we went to the Dr. 30 times last year. I can negotiate a cash price a hell of a lot cheaper at the dr. office.

The part that rubs me raw is that I found a policy quote from my current provider with a 1000 deductible and lower out of pocket max for less than my SHARE of what my company is providing. i can walk in off the street and get the same plan with better prescription coverage for less than the group plan costs....? WTF?

We are also looking into Scott and White's plan as they are local and that is our regular doctor. They are also building a brand new hospital across the street from us and my wife may end up working there next year after graduating nursing school. All this BS is just BS.....ugh.
