I'd rather he at least vote than NOT vote.

There are too many people on either side of the election that say to themselves, "well my guy won't win" and pack it up for 4 years. If he's willing to take the time to cast his vote for who he feels is the best choice, he's participated in the greatest tradition this country has.

Your condescending attitude makes you look like a smug, self-absorbed prick.

Maybe I am. That would make two of us. I feel this particular election is the most important one in my life (so far) and there's really only two choices. The country has reached a tipping point, and a write-in will do no good other than to tell someone 20 years later that you voted for "X". Been there, done that.

Romney for President was the first time I was able to vote. I know that this election is so important, and I believe he will win. I also believe that I will look back 30 years from now and have the same feeling that first time voters for Reagan now have.

Great post, man. My first presidential election was Reagan/Carter in 1980. It's a feeling that still sticks with me. With all the turmoil in the middle east, it is surreal. When our embassy was hit in Libya, I swear to God I thought I woke up in 1979. It shows that history does indeed repeat itself and that presidents DO make a difference.

What Obama did in Libya was even worse in my opinion than what Carter did in Iran. Although Carter did nothing on the ground to support the Shah, Obama took it further and used force to support the overthrow of Gaddafi in favor of the "government" in power there now. He has the blood of our ambassador on his inept hands.

You mean showing up and grieving at the remains of the WTC? Absolutely deplorable. Go sit in the presence of Bush and then do the same with Barry. Let me know which actually speaks to you as a person

Marcus Luttrell spoke very highly of meeting with Pres. George W. Bush in person, and that's endorsement enough for me. Google who Marcus Luttrell is naynay, since you likely don't have any idea who he is. While your there you can also get some good info on JFK to complete your assignment on presenting us a detailed analysis of how Obama equals JFK in presidential greatness.
