You still have people who have no idea about any politician or who is running. It still works brilliantly. Hell, I can give you videos of idiots at Obama rallies not knowing anything about Libya. Most people don't know about electoral colleges or that their votes dont' actually count towards presidential elections. The Founders could see FAR down that road

True to a point. It does work but IMO it is an antiquated system that serves no real purpose. And it disenfranchises a large group of people with the winner takes all approach. IF the votes were split percentage wise it would be fine. Just because I live in a state that has a slight majority of repub voters should not mean my vote doesn't count or a repub in California's doesn't count.
And I can give you video of a senator who thinks a woman can't get pregnat after being raped. And many that think a woman should be forced to carry that pregnancy to term, no matter what it does to her mental health or her age. There are idiots on all sides of the isle. I'm sure the electoral college has it's share.

Good, we presume you won't be bothering to vote then. That means my vote can negate some other liberal voter's efforts who does bother to vote.

If she's raped then no she shouldn't be unless she chooses to be. Do you really believe every abortion is a partial birth abortion? If so you need to take another happy pill. I'm against those also. BUT when a woman is raped she should have the opportunity to have an abortion at the earliest opportunity. As in 2-3 weeks in.

Not at all, but I believe every abortion is killing a life. Science is pretty much on my side with that as well. I'm also pointing out Obama's view on abortion that even if a baby survives an attempted abortion and is born, it can still be killed and it's fine. Would you like the vote itself or ... I have a wealth of knowledge at my fingertips and I'm quite good at this.

When a woman is raped, she can go get a pill that will prevent pregnancy in the first place and within the first couple of weeks you're still in the clear. IF there is a police report, by all means, get to it. If you had to hemhaw until the child is viable, suck it up princess. Give it to someone and make them happy, you should have acted sooner.

IF we are not willing to protect the most innocent and weakest of us, then as a Republic we are already gone. I do find it very interesting however, that liberals view the death penalty as barbaric but inserting a power drill into a child's head and then using a shop vac to suck everything out isn't.

Actually, I do. And it messed them up for life. However much a rape will fuck you up, an abortion will fuck them up even more. By the way, I'll just leave this here:

So why punish both the mother and child? The mother with the memory of having killed her child and the child with death for merely existing? If you go beyond a few weeks, you've made the decision to keep it. Finish it up, get an early C section and put the baby up for adoption. The Catholic Church is really good about this. You call an 800 number and they help you set up with a family that wants your baby.
