I voted weeks ago. Disabled voting FTW.

Oh, and Ovary's Dad. It's so states like NY and Cali with huge populations of liberals don't crash the country over the objection of productive states with lower populations.

No. Electoral is based on population. Texas has 45 NY 29. The fact that states have. A wiiner take all electoral votes is not the right approach. Of course it wouldnt be in any states interest to do so unless all states would follow suit. This will never happen. So we are stuck with a few states deciding the election for the whole country.

Place a crown on Obama's head and call it a day.

The electoral college was the best solution for the time. Without a efficient means for everyone to communicate there had to be a way for their votes to be counted. So everyone from each area got together and voted then they sent a representative to Washington and those people voted as the representative for those people. With modern technology there is no reason that each vote can't be counted and the total dictate the winner. That would be a more accurate winner. If people knew that their vote actually counted there would probably be a higher percentage of voters. With the current system it's too easy for someone to think their vote doesn't matter and not vote.

Find your local Obama campaign office and they'll find a way for you to be able to vote in both places!

You still have people who have no idea about any politician or who is running. It still works brilliantly. Hell, I can give you videos of idiots at Obama rallies not knowing anything about Libya. Most people don't know about electoral colleges or that their votes dont' actually count towards presidential elections. The Founders could see FAR down that road
