  • romney tax plan

the one thing that somewhat scares me about romney/ryan is there lack of info on this,.......on the one hand you have romney saying that anyone making over 1million will not be able to take certain deductions, ie. house interest (which is a big one for me) then you have ryan who says its anyone making over 250k.

they both talk about having a limited deduction amount, romney says around 25k and ryan i havent heard,.......if this is the case its going to really fuck people with a small business like me .........if anyone has any information or links to a more indepth look at there plan please post it.

As they've stated, one reason there's lack of info is that they want to work with congress on this...reps AND dems, unlike Barry shoving stuff down our throats. Romney IS a businessman if nothing else. I just don't see him doing anything to hurt businesses, big or small.

Ryan's plan is whatever Romney's is. He's the VP. You want someone who fucks small business? How's it been under Obama? And have you factored in Obamacare?

As the president doesn't write the tax policy, it really DOES depend on what he can push Congress to do. That's why Barry hasn't been able to punish business more than he already has. He really, as president, can't set tax policy.

            Well, not honestly anyway

I doubt there is a true Romney/Ryan tax plan. I also don't expect they have one at this point in time. Obama did not have a plan in 2008 and it still appears that he does not have one. After years without a budget or real plan, my opinion is that this is a significant problem.

What they both have in Romney's case, or had in Obama's, are a set of principals and ideology about how their plan might be implemented. It is up to their ability to set policies and communicate their wishes to Congress. They need to ensure that those policies and ideas take form in future bills as they are crafted by our legislators in the House and Senate. We know how this has process has worked and will continue to work under Obama. Given Romney's claimed accomplishments as Governor, we have some idea the outcome under his leadership.

It is really nothing other than spin at this point. Both Conservative and Liberal points of view. Based upon past records we fairly well know how the candidates will govern. Cast your vote with that in mind.

It's pretty damn clear what Barry's "tax plan" is. The same as the last 4 years: no budget, and keep spending.

obama's plan ? if you file as a small business and show 100k+ in earnings you are going to start at 39% . this has been the democratic answer for some time. when you cant control spending raise taxes. how do you stay in power after screwing the small business man ? raise his taxes and give it to the entitlements voters .
this country has never prospered under high taxes and high unemployment .
you raise my taxes 5% i will cut labor by 5% . it is how it's done. labor is one of the few things in business overhead that you can adjust and the first thing the bean counter will go after .
