Yup. I write off my home office (I telecommute) a percentage of my utilities, my computers, monitors, charity donations, home interest and taxes, training expenses, etc, etc, etc...

I was really big on charity in 2010 so I'm going to have some huge deductions there..

If I can ever get this adoption thing knocked out I will get a $13500 adoption tax credit. That'll pay for about half of my adoption expenses.

One thing about our current tax system that seriously pisses me off is that people who pay in zero get money back. WTF?? If we had a flat tax or went to the sales tax only I would think it's more fair. As for the making shit equitable for the poor, I grew up poor & had no help from the govt. Since I managed to scrape out an education, I have gotten to middle class status. Why can't the poor of today do the same?
