First-person experience trumps emotion every time, "bucko".
1. I'm 49, I was around for Carter
2. All Obama supporters are on welfare. I've never been on it a day in my life.
3. Everyone in Romney's 47% is on welfare, and is a leach on the system.
A. Retirees who have worked all their lives and never taken welfare.
B. Disabled Vets quite often will not pay income taxes.
C. A Family of 4 that owns a house and has 4k interest and makes 31k a year will not pay income taxes. And that with only standard deductions and interest deductions. Add other deductions and their wages can go up without paying income tax.

Google is your friend, so do get back on it and regurgitate some more tidbits since these don't quite cut it. Not bad, but not so good either.
Since you claim to have been "around for Carter", did you vote for him? Do the math before you answer.

No I didn't vote for carter. The first election I could vote in was Reagan and I voted for Reagan. That doesn't mean I wasn't paying attention earlier.

And the attitude of many repubs that act like Buzzo and The King, calling names and talk down to people reinforce the attitude that Repubs are elitist and think everyone else is beneath them.

So when you were in your mid-teens you would have voted for Gerald Ford? If so, you were a stodgy teenager with the mindset of a senior citizen well beyond your years. What happened between then and now to turn you?
When I voted for reagan I was voting for a strong military. I voted for Bush 1 for the same reason. I wanted to vote for Perot because I believed what he said about Nafta and how it would hurt the middle class and america. Then Bush/Cheny came along and I swore I would never vote for a Replublican again after their lies and bullying.
