Fox over sensationalizes everything. You can't go through one show without them trying to make you hang on every "stay tuned" pile of crap report they have.

Every news network since the dawn of time does that. That's how they keep viewers tuned in for the whole broadcast. And you started this off with bias, now it's inconvenience.

Right. Pretty much my point in that both networks stand together when it comes to the art of muckraking. They both have their way of saying what you want to hear. Neither one is more "honest" or forthright than the other.

Using a hook and bias in the media are two different things. We were talking about bias. Fox leans to the right, however it's important to realize that the other networks are so far left, that even a legitimately center weighted newscast would appear radically right compared to the mainstream media. Fox is right, but I wouldn't go as far as to call it conservative. They broadcast for the benefit of the establishment for the most part.

What about total ommission of (or not reporting) news items that concern our POTUS? I don't think Fox does any of that.

Of course they don't. If Romney wins then you'll see the same thing from CNN.

The way I understand your statement is that CNN does omit certain news criteria that is in direct relation to the President, and Fox does not omit certain news criteria that is in direct relation to the President, no?

Hell, I guess. Fox News is about the only agency to report ALL news concerning Barry. I've seen enough of MSNBC, CNN, ABC, and NBC to see a lot of issues either not covered at all, or sticking to an incredibly inane excuse (like the attack on our embassy being caused by a cheap video?) when most sane folks know better.
I watch a lot of late night stuff, and Fox has bashed Romney and his campaign, a lot more than some would expect.

If the rolls are reversed it will be the same way with CNN and the rest having a hard on for everything Romney does or does not do and Fox will be as generic as possible while the round table discussions finger bang each other acting like they are genuine with what they say.

I would love to test your theory.

The problem I see is they are actively hiding information that is detrimental to Obama and therefore the country's well being. This is news, and they are refusing to report on it for the sole purpose of benefiting Obama. The administration is practically handing them scripts to read. I see the mainstream media as stenographers instead of reporters. As far as bias, I find the right wing media far less tolerant of scandals than the left. The moment a republican politician F's up, they are demanding his resignation. When Anthony Wiener got caught, the media spent 3 weeks trying to cover it up.
