If you have none of that, you can't duplicate it. Otherwise, right now using your own experience and tools on hand, prove black holes exist.

I point you to the God particle as a similarity. Science is pretty sure it exists but can't duplicate it. Are you saying the God particle doesn't exist because you can't sit in a chair and rub your feet together to create it?

Not true. People (specialists) have the tools to guess where a black hole is. They can't observe it but rather it's effects and guess that it's there based on those reactions. If you believe in them but have no observed them, you have faith that these guys are right and while you're not doing the tests yourself, that they aren't making shit up

Science is faith. You have a hypothesis and try to prove it. Quite a few scientists throw out evidence that doesn't fit their hypothesis and you get skewed results. And if you can't prove a theory on your own, you are taking the experience and work of others by faith, to be correct.

Again, I find it amusing that you get bent out of shape over God and yet most Christians don't have the same visceral reaction when we're challenged over our beliefs. I don't discount science, I've spent a good deal of time being a science nerd and love science. I also believe science hasn't advanced far enough to prove God but believe it will in time. Same thing I believe science will eventually discover faster than light travel though they're nowhere near it now.

It constantly proves itself wrong? Sure. But look at many times it has proved itself right. What has religion proved over its thousands of years? Were still waiting on the second coming of Christ.

The moon has an affect on the tides. The planets orbit in an ellipsis. We know when we look up there is stuff out there besides just blury lil dots. Yeah, I am sure along that path there have been failures but they have proved quite a bit for you to throw out a field constantly proves itself wrong.

Science is EVOLVING! it's able to admit when it is wrong, and as our understanding of the universe grows some things are found to be half truths, or untrue altogether. but science NEVER asks you to simply "believe".

Not sure what you're trying to illustrate here.. if a scientific test is performed to the parameters of the test then the results will be what they are. there is no "throwing out evidence"..

It's being pursued, and up until recent history even creating the machinery to conquer such a task was out of the question. What is religion doing to further their evidence - patiently waiting on the messiah to come back.. lol again.

I am sure it exist and it actually existing are two different things. Still, two completely different comparisons though. If you can create an environment where you can invite anyone and see a ghost or angel then that is a different argument, but you can't. Your argument of them being in a "certain" mindset which is similar to the mindset of a scientist is goofy. Most people who see angels are a) religious, and b) probably just ended up in a bad situation which resulted in not being in the right mindset, ie an accident, operation, or severe injury.

If the God particle can be replicated repeatedly then you can't argue that, period. Regardless if you can see it or not.
