The US has been financing and rebuilding historic churches and temples for a while. The State Department’s program to preserve overseas cultural landmarks started under President Bush in 2001

Hello, McFly. You just described Obama's reelection campaign.

Really. Don't dare issue a challenge in this area, for he speaks with expertise and absolutely no ignorant bias. You continue with this he'll remind us all again what an expert and how much he knows on this topic and how he can grind you to the dirt with just one sentence...

That's something I love about atheists of his ilk. They deride me for believing in something I cannot see while they do the same. They cannot see science, for the most part can't duplicate research or experimentation so they have to trust someone else reported honestly and trust in those reports to have the right answer. Sounds like religion to me

I always thought science was based over empirical evidence and establishes facts as mutually agreed upon experiences. However, i do believe that science chooses to believes what it wants sometimes......

Only if you can duplicate it. If you're taking what someone else is telling you to be true without doing the research yourself, that's faith. You have faith that science is telling you the truth. I look at believing in God being the same as believing in wind. You can't see wind, you can feel it and see what it does though. While wind can be measured, I believe we just haven't caught science up to the point of proving God.

It's kind of like proving String Theory. Pretty sure it's there, we can measure other things that point to it but can't measure IT.

Not true. Gravity is an invisible force. As is wind, string theory, anything to do with atoms, and so forth. It's not directly observable to the majority of people who trust that what they're being told is correct. If you feel otherwise, then you are welcome to empirically test every scientific belief you have and verify the results. Otherwise, you have faith you're being told the right thing.

Believe in a black hole? Not directly observable.
