Do I believe those, or did you mean to say do I believe those remain in force for me? Those are First Covenant Laws recorded in the Old Testament, or at least appear to be so from what was likely the result of a Google search on your part. If so, yes I believe those laws existed but do not require ongoing obeyance to be fulfilled, as that was already accomplished on our behalf through the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The "Christian" Bible, as you worded it in the last sentence in your post above, plainly states such.

Thank you for your offer, but I no desire for third party education about the Bible. It is something that I choose to read and learn from myself. However you as well as anyone else is always welcome, and encouraged, to post your personal interpretation of Scripture should you so choose.

So if this is the case, why are the ten commandments still held dear? Are they rendered null and void as well?

None of the First Covenant Laws were rendered null and void, rather they were fulfilled.

With regard to the Ten Commandments, any true believer in Jesus Christ will follow those (my opinion here). Outside of that, they also provide a framework for societal living.

What kind of limitations? Limitations sort of like how we thought the planet was flat but later found out its not? Your area of "limitations" is gradually disapating as is every pocket of ignorance that can't be explained so god created it.

              • Limitations as far as mankind's ability to understand. Acceptance that not everything can be or will be reduced to a level that fits into mankind's scientific explanations. Acknowlegement that the created shall always be subordinate to The Creator.

So it makes perfect sense. We're to stupid for the universe so lets construct something that is easy to understand. So we create this one entity that has created all. You can't argue that or dispute it because this entity controls all.

                  • No, mankind controls his own destiny given that he was created with free will. Some of us acknowledge our place in Creation is all.

                              • I don't recall referencing your SN with respect to Google. Perhaps you should not assume anything without having at least a quote from me to back your assumption.

As far as any picture, I wouldn't know or care. I never bother myself with looking at pics posted in this forum.
