  • The Onion satirizes Middle East protests with X-rated cartoon

OMG!! Let's go riot and kill people.

The Onion has jumped into the controversy over a film that shows the Muslim prophet Muhammad by posting a satirical cartoon of other religious figures engaged in an explicit sex act. Accompanied by the headline "No One Murdered Because of This Image," the very NSFW drawing shows the Hebrew prophet Moses, Jesus, the Hindu god Ganesha and Buddha all in a very compromising group situation, and has been liked on Facebook more than 85,000 times. As a result of the film "The Innocence of Muslims," which mockingly portrays Muhammad as an unintelligent philanderer, rioting and protests have broken out across the Middle East. In Libya, four Americans, including the ambassador to the country, were killed in an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi. [Source

Right, it's okay to poke fun of these, but they won't dare add Momo in the mix. Cowards

ease the fuck up for .0008 seconds... they're clearly pointing out all of the hypocrisy that you're saber rattling on, but they're doing it on a grand scale. You should celebrate that "article"

On one hand I do. On the other, I see that they're too chickenshit to put Momo in there. I've been keyed up all day with what's been going on and having to depend HEAVILY on medication. The fact I'm still functioning is impressive.

Oh shut the fuck up with your incessant bitching and complaining. Who gives a fuck if you're medicated, really.

I actually do... I can almost say I totally understand where he's coming from. I assure you every ounce of energy he has is spent on NOT killing people. That's what good-hearted people who are "broken" do.

walk a mile in his shoes and come back with your current position

Thank you Cooter. I had to delete everything I wrote to him because it wasn't his post that deserves it. It's rage. I am an infantryman. For the past 3 days I've watched the US attacked over and over, my brothers killed, my flag burned and the Islamic flag flying over my embassy. I take that very personal and I'm like an old horse, too broken to do the job. I remember it, I remember my responsibility to it and my duty but I am not allowed to do it.

It's driving me crazy and I've had to shut everything off several times. Everything in me screams fight. It screams for retribution, for retalliation for them to pay but I no longer wear the uniform that allows me to strike for the country. It's a deep feeling of impotence and I want to do something.

I replied only reading his post. I can only imagine what your original reply was. One of these days we'll have to sit down and talk face to face.

Dude, I'll always be there for you, but I can't get behind your post.

They don't want to put Momo in the picture, because it'd change the whole point of the satire.

We have this illicit picture, and we don't have Christians, Jews or Buddhists running around firebombing places or storming The Onions Headquarters looking for blood.

It mocks the fact that the rest of the worlds religions can handle something that pokes fun of or compromises their beliefs, but the animalistic Muslims cannot.

I think you guys took my statement and limited it solely to this topic, I'm with frost in that I think we should kill every som'bitch that steps foot onto embassy grounds without proper authorization, I totally get that part. My point of issue is that he bitches about every little thing, and when someone points out that his ideas are crazy (ie: riding a dirt bike across the corner of his property he'll shoot them) he thinks (or at least appears to) that he should get a pass because he's medicated. No, he does not get a pass because of it. And if he can't control himself, then someone else will have to control him.

And don't take this as me marginalizing his service either, I've told him in the past I appreciate his service and sacrifice, and nothing has changed on that front.

No, I don't think I should get a pass at all. And I absolutely believe in private property rights. You cross my property line you had better have an invite or warrant. By all means, do try to control me. I'm more than willing to let you try.

The fact that I've not injured a single person in 8 years says quite a bit.

I've never maliciously injured another person, ever, in almost 30 years. You get no cookie.
