Ya I'm sure you did. Somehow I don't see RP as having a huge ego. I just don't think he wants to go against everything he has stood for his whole life.
It's not like he has been a congressman for 30 years straight. He has gone back and forth between his medical practice. And he didn't just appoint himself to congress. Maybe he wants term limits because the reason the main policies that determine this countries direction never change is because the politicians never change. Either way he is certainly not the only person to spend the majority of their lives in politics, at least he admits there is a problem with that. But then again nothing will change until the mindset of the American people change and decide they don't want life-long politicians.
