Reddit is a super lefty site, a lot of the so called intellectual youth based sites are like that. One of the reasons is they are international, a lot of people posting are not even from the US. It's the same atmosphere as Wikipedia. It's not representative of the voting bloc to expect. It's still too early to call, but just about all of the historical signs point to Obama losing this election.

A good friend of mine's Dad was forced from his town by Israelis as a child. His parent's home was given to a Jewish family and they were driven from their homes to an inhospitable region. By sheer luck he was selected by the Soviet Union to study Chemistry and then when it collapsed he came to Houston and started a construction company. He is one of the most interesting people I have had the pleasure of talking to.

Israel has, rather ironically, done to Palestinians what the Nazis did to them. They have implemented apartheid, segregation, and a class system where the Palestinians are forced to the back of lines at stores and economically disenfranchised.


I realize the strategic significance of supporting Israel in certain situations, but they have fucked us over time and time again too. They annexed parts of Egypt and Syria in 1967, we provide them with billions in military aide, and they sell our tech to fucking China.

Well I know that there are some conservatives on there. I just can't gauge how many, because you get run off if you don't toe the liberal line. Just like this site is largely conservative. But the liberals here wouldn't get run off if they weren't complete and total idiots.


I know it's biased obviously. But as for sampling, seems to me that most of this country is liberal these days. So it's difficult to gauge how far off from reality that sampling is.

They also fought a war and are the only country that has ever actually given land back afterwards. Those animals didn't want any of that until Israel declared themselves a country. It wasn't until Israelis actually made something of the desert that they decided "Hey, that's ours!" You can be a Muslim in Israel and be fine. Try being an Israeli or Christian in what they call palestine.
