The other day on the Well's Report someone put it this way.

"If you write in Ron Paul or anything other than Romney then your effectively voting for Obama. It would be the same as cheering for the opposing team just because the coach benched your kid."

      But, yea Pepsi sucks.

You guys make me laugh. You realize that not voting is just as much an exercise in expressing your opinion as voting, right? You're as free to NOT vote as to vote. But don't mind me, jump up and down while expressing your own superiority a little more.

Hey, since you are now an oil field worker.....ya might want to vote for the fuckin guys that will actually keep your ass in an oil field.
An oil-field worker that doesn't support a guy whose platform includes an energy independent nation? Especially after the current ass-clown killed the Keystone pipeline project? I don't get it.

As I stated in post #13, some local races might still interest some. It doesn't concern me personally if someone stays home.

I wasn't including you in that; you're speaking rationally.

Try and grasp this, Eric........a lot of countries do not get to vote. They do not have the freedom to vote. They get killed for wanting to vote.
You have this right. it was given to you by men and women that wanted this country to be different. So, you can exercise your right to not vote.....but shut your fucking cum dumpster if you didnt pick a goddamned side to back. Sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up because you decided not to participate. You get a vote. If you dont use it.....shhhhhhhhh. hush.

What I am tired of are these morons that actually think they are going to fucking agree with every damned thing a candidate says. "well, he doesnt like lemurs so fuck him!"

I know you were never military and you just dont seem to understand what others have done to give you the right to vote but I also know you have no problem standign up for what you believe in. It has nothing to do with "superiority" or any other go against the system argument you might decide to yank from your rump......it is about the fact that in this country... you... are actually able to let the world know who you want. You may not care for either candidate and staying at home and not voting is your right......but you give the right up to bitch about it. Sorry.....you dont like the way America is? Well, did you vote?

Hell, I respect you far more even if you show up and write in a candidate.....well, atleast you expressed your opinion.

To me not voting and bitching about who is in charge is like having a fucking car that is broken down and not trying to fix it but rather complain to the world that cars suck and you would rather stay home. Well, stay the fuck home. I'm gonna fix my car!

But you are picking a side. You're picking the side that says neither side is good enough. And dude. Don't sit here and talk to me about military POV. I'm an Army brat with a father that served 2 tours in Vietnam, retired with his 20, and a direct descendant of a Revolutionary War General. Does your family have any monuments around the country with their name on them? Don't arbitrarily dismiss my opinion over some perceived special status you think you've attained. There are plenty of people in the service that couldn't find their ass with both hands, just like any other walk of life.

I think it should be more like tainted, knat infested, store brand crap cola vs coke.

tainted, knat infested, store brand, shit cola = Obummer/Biden

                      coke = Ryan/Romney

I understand what you are saying because I still want RP. I swore to write him in earlier, but I know that we need to get Obummer out of there. It's too close of a race to be fucking around. Romney may not be what I want, but I know what I don't want. Once again, it has to come down to the lesser of 2 evils. It's a shame that it has to be that way. The sytem is set up to railroad independents from playing the political game. Look at the shit that Romney's camp and/or the republican party has already pulled to try to block RP from getting delegates. It already looks like more of the same.

Yes, actually they do......a few even left some body parts in other countries as well. My Uncle Oliver put his foot so far up a German's ass that he lost a leg.

I am not dismissing your opinion, Eric, not even for a second. I don't think I have attained a status.......I know I have......ya know, they put it in our slogan and everything....The Few The Proud...lol Just like every single other service member that volunteered their life for something they believe in. Does it get me special privileges? well, yeah, it actually does sometimes......i like my 10% off at some auto parts stores.
Trust me, I know first hand how many people in the military can't find their asses with their hands.
I am definitely picking a side. I am voting for change......hehehehehe.
The problem I have with Ron Paul voters is that they are republicans......but they would rather write in a vote instead of back the republican party. Well, that is fine and dandy, but that is one step closer to having Obama carry on.

Why are you assuming Ron Paul supporters are Republicans that identify themselves with that party? That's asinine. You've gone from complaining that people don't vote, to complaining if people vote for the person they actually want in office.
