Not to mention his I-Pod starts with AC/DC and ends with Zeppelin. ;-)

Sorry, Coop. I know that we are not supposed to be able to relate to any of these stinking politicians.

First off, AC/DC blows fucking monkey nuts. I didn't say you weren't supposed to be able to relate. But the comments like "he had me at AC/DC" make me sick. It wouldn't make me sick, if I didn't know that inconsequential shit like that does in fact influence the way people vote. No different that people voting for Obama simply because he was black, or people voting for Obama out of white guilt. Funny how you commented about the same things in the last election since, but now you take a different stance because it fits in line with your views.

Just another way to relate to someone, that's all. I take no stance other than that. Again, you're out of your element. Your bitterness just exudes, and you try a little too hard to be a bitch.

LMFAO!! What, exactly, do I have to be bitter about? My life is fucking GREAT! Try too hard to be a bitch? Is that what you call it when someone points out facts? You can't respond without emotion? That's what I call being a bitch.

As I said in the other thread. I've got no problem with relating to someone. But this country is fucked, and has a million, bigger, more important issues than who listens to what. I've been noodling too, but you don't see me commenting on how that's a hobby of his. Because it doesn't really matter.

Facts? LOL! I knew you'd troll and I'd suck you right in. You can't even stand for someone to relate to a candidate?

I'll give an example. The other day, a friend commented on someone's facebook comment, and I read the exchange. These two were going back and forth about how Romney wants to cut funding for the arts, while both were staunchly against arts funding being cut, one was going to vote for Obama on that alone. Meanwhile, in America, we've got the worst fucking education system there is. We resort to bribery in the form of Free Nikes, and $500 gift cards for kids to show up on the first day of school. But yeah, Arts funding is the real issue.

I completely and totally understand that different things are important to different people. I even respect it. But people's priorities are fucked up. Especially in the current situation with the debt, foreign affairs, unemployment rate, etc. So much more things that ACTUALLY matter right now, things that will shape and determine the future of this country. And like I said, it wouldn't bother me as much, if I didn't know that people actually think and vote that way.

I've never said it really matters. If you think I'm that shallow, then you don't ever read my other political posts'. Did you watch the speeches?

Yes, facts. Like you commenting just like me, and many others, about how ridiculous it was for people to vote for Obama based on his race alone. You know you did, as well as I do and did. Would you like me to dig it up to prove it?

Some did out of guilt. My point is not everything you state is "fact". That's a big ass umbrella.

I'm watching Ryan's speech now, and will try to find Condi's speech next. Those are really the only two I'm interested in. I'm not totally sold on Ryan, as I've said before, due to his voting record. Yes, he talks a big game. But as I've also stated before, the choice could have been much worse.

I've been gone for a week for a funeral, with nothing but OTA channels, and have been busy doing hillbilly work, so really didn't even have time to catch any highlights of recent events.

Then you misunderstood my post. I didn't mean everything I state was fact. What was fact, again, was you posting how ridiculous those things were.

And I'm sure music choice is not influencing your opinion entirely. Much like I'm sure SS Junk's comment was in jest. But you know as well as I do, people decide their votes on less, and it's sickening. I'd much prefer to focus on the important issues, than the inconsequential ones.

It's very true that people vote for about any reason possible. The Obama camp has the "white guilt" angle down to an art.
