Is it true that the military does not allow for guilty pleas in death penalty cases?

Yes it is true. There was a court martial that I sat on and the defendant wanted to plea guilty to (2) counts of murder (one military and his wife) and the Judge said "DECLINED"

What if the judge is stalling the court case to see if obama gets the boot? Do you really think he would give the ok to execute someone when they already labelled this as workplace violence and not terrorism? Sad that this even crosses my mind.

Sad what this country has come to, guy murders innocent soldiers on base and we have to pay millions to defend the guy. No is no doubt he did it, punish him so bad that people who even contemplate something similar in the future will think twice about what will happens if they do not meet their maker.

He doesn't have the 6th amendment. It doesn't apply. When you enlist, you voluntarily give up the majority of your rights and protections.
