I think when he is differentiating between an arrest, and a detainment, he means to say charges weren't filed. Generally, charges and a court case follow an arrest. They don't necesssarily follow after a simple detainment.

I believe there is more to this story than we as the general public have been entitled to. I am on ends as to whether or not his 1st amendment rights have been violated. I can see where the believed "threats" were made and why he should have been detained for psychological evaluation. I actually have had to unfortunate privilege of going through that same thing (detention and placed in a mental hospital for evaluation) with my mother. While the situation was different I understand the need for this to happen... There was a need to prevent her from potentially harming herself or others...

I don't agree with their religion, but I will respect it. The fact that you had make it a point that you didn't capitalize the word Muslim shows how narrow minded you can be. The rest of us are pretty well versed on when/why capitalized words are used.

The may be"recognized" but they are far from being legitimate based upon what they believe in and their practices. I am very open minded, but not open to rediculous theories or better yet, a faction hiding behind their "religion". Not neccessarily in response to you; but in general, the amount of muslim sympathy in America stinks to high heaven.

You might want to research your religions a little better. While I don't think most of those are recognized religions either, Muslim and Christianity aren't far apart. You might actually refer to them as twins, if you had a clue as to what you were discussing.

I've never threatened to kill anyone. I have laid out instances in which I'll utilize self defense, but I've never threatened anyone with harm. And the dictionary disagrees with you. If you put someone in cuffs and keep them from being free to leave, by the dictionary, you are arrested.
