I'm not sure where you got that information, but I'm going to call flat out bullshit on it. Even if you take today's population numbers which are much larger than they were 20 years ago, that's nearly half of the counted population.

To put your bullshit into perspective, there are an estimated 1,000,000 in the entire state today -- a number that has been growing through the years until the recent downturn in the economy.

The info came from a sociology professor in about 1990 or so. Her team had been researching the demographics in Bexar county for more than 2 years. At that time, I believe the census info put the illegal to legal population right at 1:1.

I'm guessing in your infinite wisdom you meant county, not state in your dumbass post above.
