This reminds me of the saying that the winner rights the history books.

Maybe CNN thinks they can write history without firring a shot.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

And it matters not how it is being used, it is spammed hundreds times in the book, and for the record, it is a social studies book.

This is at the beginning of chapter 1, section 1:

This is at the beginning of each section, with slightly different wording. The website was used four times in the first 12 pages.

Call it what ever you want, it is a private company with specific political agendas/opinions having a direct link to their website, plastered hundreds of times in a public education school book. It is bullshit.

Sooooooooo, nothing was changed in the books. Gotcha. And how would one know if the information was changed? Multiple sources. It ain't rocket surgery. I think you're just complaining because it's CNN and not another news agency you're more inclined to fall in line with politically, but I could be wrong.

          LOL!

That said, history is history and facts are facts. Opinions should never enter in to studying the facts of history, but we all know that it does, and in many cases, shapes how history is taught.

I, nor you, cannot answer that.

Please show those sources. Hell, you don't even know what book(s) I am actually referring to. I spent an hour yesterday researching online to find what I could about it with no success.

And here is where you, once again, drag out your 'jump-to-conclusions' mat. I want NO private businesses to be force-fed to my children. We all know you are implying some Fox-bullshit, maybe you need to stop assuming shit.

Sure you can. Verify the information contained in the book. Don't have time to do that? Don't bitch about something you aren't sure about.

I was saying use multiple sources to make sure what your kids book is saying is correct.

And yet, much to your dismay, it's done (almost) every minute of every day, and there's nothing you can do about it short of locking your kids away from any outside influence.

Please tell me how information purposely omitted can be proved or disproved if it was not mentioned in the first place.

Stop the spin, son. You implied that I would have no issue if the book was filled with links to a different news site. Big difference from the spin you just attempted. Huge difference than what you are trying to say now....

Is it really a history book or a publishers rendition of what they wanted to happen?
