Not true. If someone had returned fire, he'd probably have fled. He didn't want to get hurt, that's why he surrendered to cops. He went into a gun free zone, in a gun free town armed to cause casualties. Cops opening fire on him would have stopped him cold.

Some of the comments about that article made me sick. I can't believe how ignorant some people are to think that ridding law abiding citizens of firearms will make them any safer. It was good to see that there's plenty of people sticking up for our rights as well though.
