I just wish they would have pitched in on those 6am-2am days where I walked out and slept in my truck so I could hit it again at 6am. Assholes.

Dr. Paul pulled 12% of the vote...in his home state. That's hardly a ringing endorsement, and even his followers have to see that.

You can vote for 2 people: Barack Obama or Mitt Romney. Who are you going to vote for? It's a very simply question.

I've said this many, many times before when flaming the Ron Paul nut huggers - they bring nothing to the table at all. I said way back last year or early this year that once RP loses the nomination they won't do anything to help get Barack Obama out of office. You are the perfect example of this phenomenon. Don't get what you want, throw fit.

More than likely, I will not vote in this election. Does that mean that I am indirectly helping Obama, not at all. I live in Texas where it is pretty much a certainty that the nominated Republican will win. Realistically, my single vote accounts for nothing. If I lived in a swing state, I would hold my nose and go vote for Romney just because I don't think he will sink our ship as fast as Oblamo is.

Now here is what I am doing that actually means something. I am getting out, away from the internet, and actually talking to people that have voted for Oblamo and I am getting them to think. I am not pushing my point of view, I am not even telling them who to vote for, I am just getting them to start thinking logically. Yes, I know it's probably a lost cause, but ya know what? That is what I am doing.

So how am I the perfect example of this phenomenon again?

See, this is what happens when people listen to what the media tells them instead of thinking for themselves. You keep voting for the lesser of two evils because the other guy "Can't possibly win", until the media has so many people brainwashed that the other guy really has no chance of winning.

It's really sad how the media works in this day and age.

I voted for Perot, and it gave the election to Clinton. Perot got 19% of the vote, and Clinton won with about 43% to Bush's 39%. Without Perot, Bush would have run away with it. I learned a lesson, and at least I'm man enough to admit it.

RP has never had a chance. He even got in bed with the Republican devils, and it wasn't even close.

Insert default "stop listening to the media and think for yourself" RP supporter response.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

And I rest my case - exactly what I said. At least you were honest enough to admit it. This is exactly why I do not understand your need to argue with me. You're arguing with me because I'm merely stating you're not going to help get Obama out of office. What's the actual truth? You're not going to help get Obama out of office - you just admitted it. Why in the world would I be interested in your opinion whatsoever? If you're not going to vote, you're just another useless opinionated Ron Paul windbag. I could go into why it's important you vote for conservative senate and house seats that are up for grabs this year, but I would be wasting my time explaining how government works. Being a conservative/right wing is being a realist. Saying "Well, I didn't get what I want, and I'm not going to vote for the lesser of two evils, so I'm just not going to do anything." Is a defeatist mentality. This is the mentality democrats should have this year, not a conservative. It's the most important election in our history, there are several important seats up which will actually need your vote, and you're intention is to convince me that it doesn't even matter. I'm at least voicing an opinion to forward a solution to the problems we're faced with and you're compelled to post up memes advocating apathy. The truth is people who hide behind the "It doesn't even matter" slogan all have one thing in common, they never accomplish shit.

So I don't guess you read the part where I said....

Ohh, I'm also not doing this in Texas, I'm doing this in a state that could in fact go to Oblamo. So yes, I am working on getting him out of office in a way that counts more than just my one, single, vote.

That's why you cast a vote, because it isn't a lost cause. If you're going to bitch and moan about politics and spend time on memegenerator making antagonist posts, the least you can do is cast a vote instead of making excuses why you don't.

You can say that all you like but Paul didn't win. He lost. Like he's lost every other time he's tried this. And yes, not voting is a vote for Obama.
