not my logic, the ucmj says sodomy is illegal. so since the law is being changed to permit these deviants, why not allow everyone the same sexual freedom? bigots...I swear

So by your logic, people who perform oral sex shouldnt be in the military either right?

There is only one way for gay dudes to have sex with each other. A guy and girl can have sex w/o oral sex. (albeit, a little less exciting)

Pole smoking should be against the law.

Now I'm just jacking around. Neither side is going to change anyone's mind.

George Carlin said it best - You only need to wash 4 places: Armpits, assohole, crotch and teeth. And if you're in a hurry you can use the same brush for all 4!

I think you might be surprised. I have a few gay friends, and they make more fag/homo/fairy jokes than anyone else. It's easy to tell the difference between a "joke," and something that is intended to be offensive.

My wife has/had lesbian friends, and they are cool by me for some mental reason.

At the end of the day, I don't think gay dudes would want to be friends with me. I'd offend them eventually with gay comments/jokes.

In order for someone to be a friend, I have to have some things in common with them and to be able to respect them. I cannot respect a man that is homosexual and it has nothing to do with being afraid of anything. So no, I do not have any friends that are known homosexuals.

Understand that you're also dealing with 17-22 year old kids who make up a huge portion of our military. You may have been a prodigy at that age, but most are just set in their ways and idiots. (I certainly was, more so then I am now. )

My point is at 33 y/o I'm not going to ever respect a cock gobbler like I would a standard male heterosexual. I have to tolerate gay males in society, I don't have to respect them. It could be hard for young kids to even tolerate them.
This is the exact reason I believe dadt should remain inplace for combat mos's. Discipline is key for effective line companies and firing batteries.
