Bio from 91 of Obama stating he was born in Kenya..

Maybe not, but it could mean the death of a re-election campaign.

One of these booklets must have missed the shredder in 2008... But then again the media wasn't exactly looking for it either....

SOoooooo, was there an original that was printed without the words "the first African-American President", but had all the other important stuff?

Or am I reading this wrong?

Doesn't matter. We could get a YouTube video of the vag ejection in a Kenyan hospital and no one would do shit.

I read that way at one point, as well.

It also says the book was edited later.

IF that sentence is what got edited, then it could be as simple as a missed typo.

"Barack Obama, of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii."

I might be stretching, but that article just didn't flow very well to me. It doesn't give enough detail to prove it without a doubt. It plays on the emotions of people.

It doesn't need to prove it. Obama has argued that there is not a credible reason for him to have to show his BC to prove he is a natural born citizen. His own bio stating he was born in kenya SHOULD be enough reasonable doubt for him to have to prove he is constitutionally eligible to hold that office.

I've been in agreement of the BC argument from the get go.

However, this article leaves way too many gaps to debate with. Obama learned chickenshit law. His ilk are all chickenshit individuals that can win an argument based on insufficient evidence, even though a subject is glaringly obvious to most people.

The original BIO was printed in 1991 and got edited at some point. What got edited? When? Was the Kenya thing added by a disgruntled employee when it got edited? Was there an overlooked typo that could be read in multiple ways?

The burden of proof falls on the accuser. Produce enough reasonable doubt and anyone can get away with anything.

The publisher is still around. There were also a lot of those distributed to other authors.

Drudge just revised the article to say the publisher used Barry's bio until 2007, including that he was born in Kenya.

After quite a bit of sifting through the garbage dump of interwebz I found this little bit of info.

According to archive.org, a website that caches websites on a regular basis, the Dystel.com website – the official website for Dystel & Goderich, Obama’s literary agents – was using the Barack Obama “born in Kenya” language until April 2007, just two months after then-Senator Obama declared his campaign for the presidency.

Archive.org shows that the Dystel website used the following biography for Obama as of April 3, 2007:

BARACK OBAMA is the junior Democratic senator from Illinois and was the dynamic keynote speaker at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He was also the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. He was born in Kenya to an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister and was raised in Indonesia, Hawaii, and Chicago. His first book, DREAMS FROM MY FATHER: A STORY OF RACE AND INHERITANCE, has been a long time New York Times bestseller.

Obama launched his presidential campaign in February 2007.

By April 21, 2007, the Obama bio had been changed to state that Obama was born in Hawaii:

BARACK OBAMA is the junior Democratic senator from Illinois and was the dynamic keynote speaker at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He was also the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. He was born in Hawaii to an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister and was raised in Indonesia, Hawaii, and Chicago. His first book, DREAMS FROM MY FATHER: A STORY OF RACE AND INHERITANCE, has been a long time New York Times bestseller.

EDIT: I see you found something as well. I would have won this info war, but I got pulled away to discuss some family matters.

                            Until next time, Ole Chap

Well isn't that convenient. How in the fuck did we win the cold war with these kind of investigative skills in government?
