They just might not have anything better to do with the rest of their day than to follow the cop until he gets off work, pull a gun on him at his home, taze him, knock him out, and proceed to torture him until he finally gets bored and kills him? I can't tell you the number of times I've found a few grand on someone and they tell me they just cashed their income tax check.

I called the TSA and told them how much I was going to be carrying and they told me I better have proof of where I got that kind of money. Fuck this motherfucking place!!!

I also asked them what I would need to do with my firearms and told them what I was carrying as check-in luggage. They started asking me why I needed that many guns to go with me. Never even got an answer from that. The airline told me they were cool with it and how to bring it, but to also notify the TSA... fuck me.

In fairness, it's the first thing I thought as well. The cop is guilty as hell, but the fuckers that enable them (especially as pointed out in the OP's article) need to be dealt with as well.
